Secret de Léoube Blanc

TERROIR : Château Léoube is characterized by schist and clay soils. In addition, the Mediterranean sea air and cool nights provide the perfect climate for vine growing. The vineyards have been organically farmed for nearly ten years, in keeping with the values we uphold in our daily work. Our winemakers continuously strive to craft high-quality organic wines. This exceptional setting also contributes to shaping an outstanding Provence white wine.

GRAPE VARIETIES : Sémillon and Ugni Blanc.

TASTING NOTES : Crystal-clear, with a pale color and silvery highlights, revealing aromas of hawthorn and quince, enhanced by citrus and spicy notes.

SERVING TEMPERATURE : 10–12 °C

FOOD & WINE PAIRINGS : Perfect as an aperitif, with fish (for example our sea bass steak recipe), shellfish, white meats, green vegetables, or a delicious 24-month aged Comté cheese.

FORMATS : 75 cl and 150 cl

WINEMAKING : Like all our organic wines, the harvest is carried out exclusively by hand. The grapes are then transported to the winery where they are immediately pressed. Juice extraction is slow and gentle, and temperatures are carefully controlled to preserve the wine’s freshness. Alcoholic and malolactic fermentations are carried out in stainless steel tanks. Finally, this organic Provence white wine is bottled in spring after natural clarification by sedimentation.

CELLARING POTENTIAL : 2 to 7 years
