Sparkling de Léoube Rosé

TERROIR : A blend of schist and clay characterizes the soils of Château Léoube. In addition, the proximity to the sea, the daily marine air, and the cool nights provide an ideal climate for vine growing. This unique setting contributes to the creation of an extraordinary sparkling rosé wine.

GRAPE VARIETIES : Cinsault and Cabernet Franc

TASTING NOTES : This sparkling rosé wine, beautifully concentrated, charms with its liveliness and freshness — a true invitation to indulgence. Its pale color, highlighted with delicate pink reflections, reveals elegant fine bubbles. On the palate, it seduces with perfect balance, offering aromas of yellow-fleshed fruits and leading to a rounded, delicately toasted finish.

SERVING TEMPERATURE : 10-12 °C

FOOD PAIRING : Ideal as an aperitif, it pairs deliciously with light fish dishes or mixed salads. Also perfect for afternoon tea, accompanied by sweet treats.

SIZES : 75cl and 150cl

WINEMAKING : Once harvested by hand, the grapes are transported to the winery where they are directly pressed. Juice extraction is slow and delicate, while temperatures are carefully controlled to preserve the wine’s freshness. Alcoholic fermentation first takes place in tanks, followed by a second fermentation in the bottle : known as the “prise de mousse.” Finally, the sparkling rosé is ready for tasting after a minimum aging period of 9 months on lees.

AGEING POTENTIAL : 2 to 3 years
