Chateau Léoube Organic wines now imported by Waddesdon Wine in UK
Waddesdon Wine, who imports markets and distributes the Rothschild wines from Domaines Barons Rothschild Lafite, Baron Philippe de Rothschild and Compagnie Vinicole Baron Edmond de Rothschild, has recently been appointed the importer for the Léoube range of wines into the UK. Waddesdon works with the UK’s leading restaurant and hotel groups, with premium retailers, high quality local distributors across the UK and provides a mail order wine service for consumers.
The range of Léoube wines are available to buy from Waddesdon Manor, the Rothschild country estate near Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire. Waddesdon was originally built by Baron Ferdinand de Rothschild in 1876 . As a family, the Rothschilds were the greatest collectors of the 19th century, seeking the highest quality of workmanship and with a keen sense of historical importance. The houses that they built, the interiors they created and the magnificent Rothschild collections within them became known internationally as the ‘goût Rothschild’. Waddesdon is one of the rare survivors of that splendour .
